Gerald L. Hurlbert

Gerald Hurlbert, age 90, passed away on December 4, 2023 in Bellingham. He was born in 1933 in Mayville, WI.
He attended Winnebago Lutheran Academy in Fond du Lac, WI and proudly served in the US Navy in the Korean War. He was married to Patricia Morrissey on June 9, 1956 at Sacred Heart Parish and they spent 48 wonderful years together until her death in 2002.
Jerry worked for Haskell Corporation at Georgia Pacific until retirement. He was a lifetime member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 40 and the Bellingham Trap and Skeet Club.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold Hurlbert Sr., mother Bernice Hurlbert, stepmother Peggy Hurlbert, and brothers Ronald and Harold Hurlbert.
He is survived by his daughters, Jean Hurlbert and Janice (Gary) Judge, grandchildren Amy (Dustin) Hobbs and Alex Judge, sisters Bev Owen and Linda Jensen, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He will be laid to rest at Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale.
