Gerry Desrosiers, age 92 of La Conner, WA passed away peacefully in Anacortes, WA on September 28, 2013. Gerry was born July 31, 1921 in Springfield, MA. He served in the U.S. Naval Air Force during WWII. Gerry had a successful career as a Director with Alaska Airlines. He was a member of the Elks Club, Toastmasters and Sacred Heart Church in La Conner. Gerry loved to travel, play golf, sing and dance. He dearly loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Gerry was preceded in death by his first wife Doris and his brother Albert. He is survived by his loving wife Winnie of 52 years, children Dianne (Gene) Munson, Gay (Jim) Smith, Sharon (Henry) Curran, Ken (Gayle) Westford, Ruthanne (Jeff) Bush and Michelle Capps, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many loving relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 413 Douglas St. in La Conner at 10:30 am on Friday, October 4th with Fr. Tom McMichael officiating. Memorials may be made to Friendship House, 1008 S. 3rd St., Mount Vernon, WA 98273.
