Gloria Joyce Day, age 80 passed away peacefully Jan. 29th, 2011 in Bellingham. She was born April 11, 1930 in New Westminster, BC to Clarence and Margaret (Long) Beaty. Gloria worked for years as a cocktail waitress at the Horseshoe and later as the Business Agent of the local Culinary, Beverage and Bartender’s Union. She was an avid Mariners and Seahawks fan.
She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Long. She is survived by her son James C. Bring, daughter in law Tammy Bring, daughter Judy (husband Steve) Peterson, grandchildren James M. (wife Gina) Bring, Joe (wife April) Anderson and Jarrett Anderson, great-granchildren Peyton, Marcella and Avery, sisters Dixie Beaty, Betty Henifin, and Joan (husband Bob) Barr.
A family gathering will be held.
