Heather Anne Emerson

Heather Anne Emerson passed away peacefully in Bellingham on July 24, 2018. Heather was born on March 20, 1954 in Bendigo, Australia to Sidney and Maud (Gray) Ievers. She married David Emerson on December 7, 1974 in Bendigo, Australia and they later moved to Washington State in 1992. Heather and David are active members in Oikos Fellowship Church. Heather will be remembered for her unique ability to engage anyone in conversation, coupled with her gift of encouragement. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Don Ievers, and brother-in-law Edward Moran. Heather is survived by her husband David, son Luke (wife Jesseca) and their children Riley, Regan and Reese, and son Christopher (wife Sarah) and their son Oliver, sisters Shirley Unmack (husband Peter), Betty McRobert (husband Ewan) and Valmai Moran. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Bellingham Covenant Church, 1530 E. Bakerview Rd. on Tuesday, July 31 at 11am. Reception following at the church.
