Helen Barrett

Helen Barrett passed away on March 25, 2018. Helen was born on March 7, 1926 in Mt. Shasta, CA to Fred and Helen Carlberg. She lived in California until October 2015 when she moved to Bellingham, WA. She lived at The Willows where she made many friends. Helen was a cat lover and watercolor artist. She is survived by her daughter Diana Barrett, son Stephen Barrett, daughter-in-law Kathy Barrett, and five nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister, a former husband, Lyman Barrett. A private graveside service will be held at Enterprise Cemetery, Ferndale, WA. A celebration of Helen’s life will be held at The Willows in Bellingham, WA. Memorials may be made to Whatcom Hospice.
