Henry "Bud" John Maier

In loving memory of Henry John Maier, who everyone knew as Bud. The man, the myth, the legend! He was born in Camden, NJ on September 26, 1955, and passed away peacefully at home in Blaine, WA on March 22, 2025.

Bud was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, & friend. He lost his wife on December 2, 2019. Henry lived a long life of hard work, always dedicating himself to family. To know him is to love him. He could sure tell you some wild stories and had the scars to prove it. He lived far longer than he ever thought he would, but not long enough for those of us that love him. He was one of the hardest workers you could ever meet, and took such pride in his work.

He was always so proud of all of us no matter what. He was over the moon about being a great-grandpa and wearing his "I’ve been promoted to great-grandpa" t-shirt. We hope to continue making him proud. He would do anything for someone in need, even if he had nothing to give.

Our protector is no longer with us and it completely breaks our hearts. Our dad was one of the best, hands down. He always put family first and would do anything for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. His family is his legacy.

He is survived by four children, nine grandchildren (one is resting in peace with him), and one great-grandchild. We will miss him more than he could ever know. He loved us with every part of himself, and we loved him. We will miss you every day forever Pops!!!

A viewing will be held at 11:00am on Sunday, March 30th, 2025, followed by an 11:30am funeral service at Westford Funeral Home, 1301 Broadway, Bellingham, WA. Immediately following the funeral, a celebration of life will be held at 15503 18th Ave. W #5E, Lynnwood, WA 98087.
