Hilda worked in her younger days raising 7 children on a bartender’s pay. She worked at numerous taverns including the Kulshan Tavern in Fairhaven and The Fat Cat. Her home was always opened to anyone that needed a place to stay. Our mother was a very generous person. If she had it and someone needed something she would give it to them. She collected dolls and Lady Diana items. Her walls were covered with pictures of her family and friends. Visitation will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Thursday, February 23 from 3-5 pm. A Celebration of Hilda’s life will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Friday, February 24 at 1 PM.
