Ignac “Ignacio” Pajnogac, age 68 of Bellingham, WA passed away unexpectedly at home on June 21, 2016. Ignacio was born in Cakovac, Croatia on July 15, 1947 to Petar and Verona Pajnogac.
After moving to U.S. he lived in Ohio and California before moving to Bellingham. Ignacio was a faithful member of Church of the Assumption and was a lifetime commercial fisherman. He loved spending time at his peaceful home where he enjoyed cooking for others, woodworking, tending his garden and watching the birds. His greatest love was his family and God.
He is survived by daughter Veronika Pajnogac, son Myles Pajnogac, granddaughter Emily, and his longtime companion Gayle Leese. He is also survived by Gayle’s seven children; Eric (Shanine), Heather, Kimberly (Justin), Christopher, James, Ethan and Jack, Veronika’s sister Haileigh, and many loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 3-5 PM on Wednesday, June 29th. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 30th at Church of the Assumption. Committal will follow at Greenacres Cemetery.
