James J. "Jim" Blizard

Jim Blizard, age 66 of Bellingham, passed away on March 17, 2015. He grew up in Puyallup, WA and graduated from Puyallup High School.

After high school he moved to Bellingham and went to Western Washington University where he graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree. After graduating Jim was a driving instructor for the Washington State Department of Licensing. Later he became an agent for the Department of Revenue until his retirement in 2004. In his retirement Jim was an avid (especially Seahawks) sports fan. He was always very knowledgeable about the current sports season. Las Vegas was Jim’s favorite vacation spot, he went twice each year and usually he went alone. Jim loved Bellingham and the neighborhood he lived in, he treated his neighbors as his own family.

He is survived by his neighbors and close friends Amy Chu-yu, John, Grace, Louisa and many other loving close friends. We will love and miss you forever.
