James (Jim) Eastwood, of Bellingham, WA, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017. Jim was born in Ephrata, WA to Ted and Linda (Blankenship) Eastwood. He graduated from Franklin High School in Seattle then joined the crew of the Merchant Marine cable ship Lenoir working in Alaska. Jim attended Western Washington University but interrupted his studies to proudly serve his country in the US Navy. He returned to WWU to earn his BA in Business Administration. Jim was founder and co-owner with his wife Becky of Puget Safety Equipment Company. He always called himself a peddler. Jim was an avid sailor, funny story teller, cat and animal lover, and was a loyal friend to everybody. He was a selfless man, always giving and helping others. Jim was preceded in death by his father Ted Eastwood and is survived by his wife Becky; mother Linda Eastwood; sister Mary (Don) Heck; brothers John and Peter Eastwood; nieces Carrie and Emilie; great nieces Mia and Elorie; and great nephew William.
