Jim “JW” Wiseman, age 66 passed away on April 29, 2016 in Bellingham. JW was born April 15, 1950 in Altoona, PA to John M. and Edna Wiseman. He loved listening to the blues and playing his drums, traveling with his buddies to take photos of trains, attending the Mount Baker Theater, talking about politics and hanging out with his dog Einstein. He loved the only team in the world worth loving- the Pittsburgh Steelers. And he was absolutely crazy about trains.
He enjoyed and employed witty sarcasm at every opportunity. He was most at home at the “Lawnmower Lounge” on Laurel Road where he jammed to music with his buddies. JW had a strong faith in the Lord and was a practicing Catholic his entire life.
JW was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert, Sonny and John M., sister Elizabeth and niece Joyce. He is survived by his sister Patricia Holton, brother Neil Wiseman, nieces and nephews Sandy Schario, Michael Wiseman, John P. Wiseman, Edna Jenkins, Rick Holton, John Wiseman III, Robert Holton, Timothy Wiseman, Corry Barnhouse and Roger L. Barnhouse, and many loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Thursday, May 5th from 2-4 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, May 6th at 9 AM.
