Jani Adderley

July 3, 1947 — August 30, 2021

Jani Adderley, age 74, passed away peacefully at home in Bellingham on August 30, 2021. She was born July 3, 1947 in Ketchikan, AK to Harold and Cleo Robertson. Jani dearly loved her family. She enjoyed spending time in her historic Columbia district home where she tended to her wonderful flowers. She was also an avid quilter and seamstress. Jani was very involved with the Eldridge Historical Society, and volunteered with neighborhood committees and the Elizabeth Park Summer Concert Series. She was proud to be one of the original members of the Bellingham Athletic Club. Jani was preceded in death by her parents, and her dear friend of 13 years, Karl Kern. She is survived by her son Ben (Lori) Adderley, daughter Janel (Tony) Malella, grandchildren Kim Whisenhunt and family, Brittny Adderley, Nick Adderley, Alia Wise and family, and Devon Malella, twin sister Kari (Ed) Richardson, brother Dave Robertson, sisters Mary Jorgenson and Cathie (Jerry) Erickson, and many loving relatives and friends. A celebration of Jani’s life will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 14th at 11 AM. A dessert reception will follow. The service will also be livestreamed at www.westfordfuneralhome.com . In lieu of flowers, memorials for the Concerts in the Park may be made to the Eldridge Society, PO Box 4, Bellingham, WA 98228.
