Jean Eastwood, age 77 of Glenhaven, WA, passed away peacefully in her home of natural causes on Saturday, June 30, 2012. She was born in Pasadena, CA on April 14, 1935 and moved to Bellingham in 1946 with her parents and brother. She loved helping others, especially family and children. After raising her family, she ran a daycare for a number of years where she provided motherly love and guidance to many children that went on to successful careers and remained in contact with her into their adult lives.
She was blessed with five children and their spouses; Jim (Mary) Eastwood, David (Miriam) Eastwood, Bob Eastwood, Steve (Sandy) Eastwood and Maryanne (Steve) Van Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Jean Bamford. She is survived by her five children, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, her brother Bob Bamford and close friend Norm Strand.
A gathering to celebrate Jean’s life will be held at Fairhaven Park pavilion on Sunday, July 22nd at 4:00pm.
