As we knew he would, Jerry P. Nelson quietly slipped away on December 4, 2022. Jerry was born on September 7, 1949 in Port Angeles to Joe and June Nelson joining brothers Ken and Frank. Jerry grew up in Port Angeles but left after a tragic car accident where he became paralyzed for life. He handled his situation with grace and dignity and was known for his generous nature. Jerry worked at Whatcom Community College almost from its beginnings out on Marine Drive. He was also member of the Church of Assumption.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ken, and Ken's wife Anne. He leaves behind his beloved wife Pat, his brother Frank, and nieces Amy and Beth.
