Joan passed away on August 26, 2021 at the age of 77. She was born in Chicago, IL to Walter and Caroline (Stempien) Ciesielski.
Joan was known for her sense of humor, love of purple and butterflies, and her big hugs that seemed to cure everything. She loved her family unconditionally.
Joan is survived by her children, Micki, Patti, Bill, Wayne, and Cari; siblings, Judy and Wally, ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Carol; and her beloved dogs Molly and Darla.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be held at a later date.
