Joan Patenaude

Joan Patenaude passed away peacefully December 24, 2021 at age 84, at her residence in Kirkland, WA.
She was one of twelve children, born in Kincaid, Saskatchewan, Canada, and a twin to sister, Judy Jackson (2010). She came to the US in 1961 when she married Pete Patenaude in 2012. In 1976 they moved to Bellingham where they owned and operated the Lions Inn Motel until they retired in 1990. Joan had a green thumb growing flowers and loved taking long walks before her health started failing.
She is survived by her daughters Sharon and Karen, son-in-law Judd, and grandson Grayson (she loved to call him her "Sunshine").
A Celebration of Life will be held at Westford Funeral Home, 1301 Broadway St. Bellingham, WA on Friday, August 19th at 11 AM.
