John Snow Bell

John Bell passed away on April 29, 2022 at the age of 94 at his home in Bellingham. He was born to Frank and Rhoda (Lybargar) Bell on December 4, 1927, one of ten children. He graduated from Bellingham High School. A proud veteran, John enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1950 and served in the Korean War. He was a longtime member of the Salvation Army and American Legion. He worked in building maintenance at Sears and Roebuck in Bellingham until retirement. He is preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Barbara Bell, and survived by his sister, Maxine Rawls, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He will be laid to rest at Enterprise Cemetery.
