John G. Ferguson, age 69, passed away April 4, 2010 in Indio, CA. He was born October 12, 1940 in Petrolia, Ontario, Canada to Gerald & Dorothy (Miller) Ferguson.
John is survived by his wife, Judi Ferguson of Indio; son Keith (wife Rachel) Ferguson of Everett; daughter Deborah (husband Bob) Ritter of Pacific; sister Bunny (husband Bob) Hudson of Bellingham; and four grandchildren.
A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at Westford Funeral Home in May. Specific date and time will be published at a later date.

John fought a great battle and succumed only when the doctors told him there was nothing more they could do. He will be sadly missed by his family but we know he is in a better place now.

I’m going to miss you, John. I’ll miss the time we had with all our great friends and the times we had alone, grading our friends from one to ten and realizing they were all tens. I miss the evenings we just sat, you and I and our friend “Bud” contemplating life. You have left me with feeling I find hard to explain. I’m glad you were my friend. Bill

bid farewell to your dear friend, John. He really was a special individual and I can’t help thinking how lucky we were to have met him. We were there when Judi and John met and then we were fortunate enough to be with the two of them on other occasions when with you. Remember how generous he was with sharing a hookup or something at Well’s Grey. He was a TRUE GENTLE MAN!!! He managed his illness with a sense of how precious every moment we can be alive is and he seemed to do it with a grace that we hope we might repeat if necessary.
