John "Jack" Johnson

John “Jack” Johnson, of Bellingham, WA, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 in Bellingham. Jack was 83, born in Toston, MT on October 9, 1932 to John A. and Wilma C. (Wood) Johnson.
He served with the US Navy during the Korean War and married Rose Barnett in May of 1954. Jack enjoyed international and domestic travel. He was an avid horseshoe player and gardener. His grandchildren were most important to him.
Jack was preceded in death by daughter Michelle Caughell and is survived by his wife Rose; son Greg (Ursula) Johnson; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Whatcom Hospice House. A Celebration of Jack’s life with military honors will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Westford Funeral Home.
