Raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa, John went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska, serve his country proudly as a career Naval Officer, and spend his post Naval years in business and property management. He married Barbara L. Kell in 1949, she passed away in 1982. He married Rosetta P. Wood in 1983. Together John and Rosetta shared the joy and love of 8 children, 17 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. A
Celebration of John’s Life with full military honors will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 11 AM, followed by a reception across the street at Westford’s Broadway Hall.
