John N. Zaremba

John Zaremba, age 65, passed away unexpectedly at home in Bellingham on December 30, 2014. He was born September 6, 1949 in San Bernadino, CA to Carl and Geraldine Zaremba.

John graduated from Bellingham High School and Western Washington University. He served in the U.S. Army for two years. John married Lois Reid on September 18, 1970. John practiced as a CPA in Bellingham for nearly 40 years. He was hardworking, honest, and treated his clients as he would treat his family. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. John dearly loved his family and was a dedicated son, husband, father and grandfather. John especially enjoyed all of the grandchildren’s sports and taking walks with Lois. He was kind, generous, loving and had a great sense of humor.

John was preceded in death by his father Carl. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lois, son Carl Zaremba (wife Sarah) and their children Phillip and Anna, daughter Jill Paxton (husband Brian) and their sons Ethan, Isaac and Simon, daughter Julie Lange (husband Doug), daughter Jennifer Zaremba, mother Geraldine Zaremba, and many loving relatives and friends.

A Celebration of John’s life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Wednesday, January 7th at 11 AM. Reception following at the church.
