Joseph Butler passed away early in the morning on September 24th at the job he loved, Heath Tecna. Joseph was 28 years old and was born in Yuma, AZ. He was raised by his mother Martha Thrasher and her husband Jerry, alongside his older sister Ebonie Butler, in Albuquerque, NM. Joseph enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served 3 good years and made friends for life. He then met his soul mate, Tara-Anne E. Johnson and over the course of four years they were beginning to raise two beautiful sons together, Tyrel Michael A. Johnson and Tresean Joseph J. Butler. Joseph was a quiet, shy man at first, and then lit up the room with his sense of humor and smile. He loved his family with every bone in his body. He had always been strong in his faith in God as a child and as an adult and over the last year he attended NCCTK in Kendall with his fiance Tara and their 2 boys. He made a lot of friends at NCCTK. Joseph touched a lot of lives with his warm hearted smile. He was an amazing father, soul mate, son, brother, friend, co-worker and servant to God. He loved rocking his youngest son to sleep and singing to them, watching football, yard sale chasing with Tara on weekends, his mother’s great food and fighting over the remote with his sister. He was loved by many people in this world and will never be forgotten. A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held at Westford Funeral Home at 11 AM on Saturday, September 29th followed by a reception.
