Dr. Joseph R. Crook, age 74, passed away November 27, 2010 in Bellingham. He was born October 16, 1936 in Reno, NV and spent his early years in Sparks, NV. He married Rosalind Crook in Fallon, NV on January 25, 1958. Joe graduated from the University of Nevada and the Illinois Institute of Technology. Joe taught Inorganic Chemistry at WWU from 1970 to 1995. He was an avid runner and reader.
He is survived by his wife Rosalind; his four children Brian (Jessie) Crook of Bellingham, Brenda (Peter) Luciano of Maynard, MA, Linda (Al) Crook of Pullman, WA, and Laura (John) Crook of Acton, MA; 5 grandchildren, Bailey, Chelsea, Hannah, Joey and Sierra; and brother Michael (Peggy) Crook of Sandy, UT.
A family gathering will be held.
