Joyce "Joy" C. Whitworth

Joy Whitworth, age 63, went to be with her sweet Jesus on January 29, 2021. She was born August 11, 1957 in Fairfield, AL to Clatis and Melba Adkins. Joy married Kerry Whitworth on September 4, 1977 in Birmingham, Alabama. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, being on the beach, shopping, reading her bible, spending time with her seven grandkids, and most of all, she enjoyed worshiping her sweet Jesus. She will be remembered for her humor, her joy when she walks into a room, her love for Jesus and her heart to make sure everyone she loved and knew would be in Heaven with her. Joy and Kerry are members of New Life Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her father Clatis Adkins and her mother Melba Adkins. She is survived by her loving husband Kerry Whitworth, daughters Karmen (Gerardo Morado) and Kara (Kyle Tjolker), grandchildren Savannah, Bretton, Kennesey , Santiago, Ashtyn, Gabriel, and Ayla.
