Justin David Vance was born to Colonel Michael and Magdalen (Lallas) Vance on April 21, 1987 at Madigan Hospital on the Fort Lewis Army base in Washington.  He passed away on September, 16 2011. As any young man would do, he tested his boundaries and challenged the status quo, but with a tremendous capacity for love and caring. He tried with diligence to live up to the values instilled in him by his family.  He had a kind and generous heart and would help anyone in need.  He valued his Greek heritage and loved his family and friends.  He attended Bellingham High School and was looking forward to a brighter future for himself and the people he cared for.  He was a shining light full of energy and life.  He had a natural gift for understanding mechanics and electronics and loved making things work.  He was a loving father and his son, John, was the light of his life. Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Irene Lallas.  He is survived by his son John Vance, mother Magdalen Lallas Brown, father Colonel Michael Vance, brother Mike and wife Amelia and their daughters Anna and Lena, sister Melissa and husband Diego Martins and their daughter Isabella, grandparents, Elmer and Joyce Vance, girlfriend Jacquiline Schmidt, and a large, loving extended family. Visitation will be held at Westford Funeral Home on September 26 at 5:30 p.m., followed by a Trisagion Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m., which will include a time to share thoughts and memories,   Funeral Services will be at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church on September 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., followed by committal at Bayview Cemetery.
