Katherine Adams

Katherine Pauline Adams, age 90 passed away September 3, 2011 at St. Francis Extended Healthcare in Bellingham. She was born in Bellingham to Fred B. and Elizabeth (Toner) Victor. She graduated from Bellingham High School in 1939. She was married to Ed Moultray and they had a son Terry. Later she married Kaye L. Adams and they had two sons Richard K. and Mark Lloyd Adams. Katherine retired after 24 years at WWU. Katherine and Kaye enjoyed camping, traveling in their R.V., going on cruises and later bus tours with Hesselgrave. They particularly enjoyed the trips to Yellowstone and Alaska. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Kaye, her parents Fred and Elizabeth, sister Bea Thumme, and two brothers, Fred R. Victor and Richard B. Victor. Katherine is survived by her three sons, Terry Moultray, Richard (LeAnn) Adams, and Mark Adams (Rita Huisman), several grandchildren Mellissa (Sarah) Adams, Buffy Adams, Mark (Sara) Adams, Katie (Dave) Clarke, Joe Adams, Chris Hanstead, Rachell Hanstead and Nate Hanstead and 19 great-grandchildren, 2 nephews, and sister-in-law Marilyn Victor. Thanks to Becky McCauley for all your help with taking care of mom. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother. Visitation will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Tue., September 13 from 11am-1pm, followed by a graveside service at Greenacres Cemetery at 2 pm.
