Katie Sparks, age 88 passed away Thursday, March 7th, 2013 in Bellingham. She was born October 3, 1924 in Ontario, CA to Wilfred and Wilna Walkinshaw. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Sparks. She is survived by her daughters Sandi (husband George) Kunde of The Woodlands, TX, Sharon Wilcox of Oceanside, CA, grandchildren Jason (wife Jamie) Kunde, Jerrod (wife Bethany) Kunde and Jessica Wilcox, great-grandchildren Jackson, Curtis, Calvin and Audrey, and many loving relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Baker Kidney Center, 410 Birchwood Ave #100, Bellingham, WA 98225. A Celebration of Katie’s life will be held at Westford’s Broadway Hall, 1300 Broadway at 2 PM on Sunday, April 7th.
