Kathleen "Kathy" Gamble

Kathy was born in Beaver Dam, WI to John and Mary (Koboski) Loehmer. Kathy attended Beaver Dam High School before receiving her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. After college, Kathy moved to Anchorage, AK where she began her life as an adoring mother to Jeff and Scott. In 1988, Kathy and Bob moved to Ferndale, WA. Kathy began working for Hawley’s Boat and Motor but spent most of her professional career as the Office Manager for WZ Injury Law Firm. In 1992, Kathy married Robert (Bob). Bob was the lucky one who lovingly referred to Kathy as Katy. Kathy enjoyed exercising, reading, traveling, and anything outdoors. Kathy and Bob had recently traveled to Italy and found new excitement in road tripping with their e-bikes in tow. Moreover, Kathy’s pure-joy was doting over her grandchildren. Kathy peacefully passed away on July 1, 2022, shortly after being diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme brain tumor. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary. Kathy is survived by her husband, Bob Gamble; sons, Jeff Wruck and Scott (Avery) Wruck; stepchildren, Lucus (Beth) Gamble and Shanna Gamble; six grandchildren, Gavin, Lucy, Weston, Kaia, Benjamin, and Tyler; and sisters, Pat Melis and Chris (Jim) Powell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in honor of Kathy on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ferndale, WA.
