Keith Ernest Johnson

Keith Ernest Johnson, age 70, passed away on March 29, 2021. He was born in Bellingham, Washington on January 10, 1951 to Alice and Ernest Johnson. He was the first of three boys to be born following the birth of his three sisters.
Keith graduated from Bellingham High School. He fished commercially as a reefnetter on Lummi Island and with his purse seiner/trawler, the Golden North. In recent years he worked at Bruce Cox Imports. Keith enjoyed music, creating craft projects, and framing and selling his photographs of the local area. He was a member of the Whatcom Art Guild. Keith was optimistic and passionate about all of his endeavors.
Keith is survived by his two brothers, Ken (Cindy) in Monterey, California, and Bruce (Molly) in New Jersey plus his three sisters, Lynne Yurovchak (Andy) of Bellingham, Carol Meetze of Lummi Island, and Mary Phillips of Bellingham. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, his good friend Lynne Gill, and Denise Mann and Kara Allen who he considered as his daughters.
