Ken Holler, age 64, passed away Monday, July 25th in Bellingham after a long illness. Ken had been fighting health issues for the last 5 years and had shown remarkable courage every day. Ken was born March 22, 1947 in Richmond, CA to Walter and June Holler. Ken enlisted in the U.S. Marines after high school and fought in Vietnam. He worked for Georgia Pacific and retired in 2000, and then worked for The Bellingham Herald for several years in the Circulation Dept. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Barbara, son Brian, daughter Andrea and her children, Devin and Maisie. A celebration of Ken’s life with military honors will be held at 5pm on Friday, July 29th at Westford Funeral Home, followed by a reception across the street at Westford’s Broadway Hall. Memorials may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #165 at P.O. Box 29885, Bellingham, WA 98228. Ken had a ready smile for everyone and will missed by all who knew and loved him.
