Ken Haggith, age 68, passed away peacefully in San Antonio, TX on Thursday, January 25, 2018. He was born July 23, 1949 in Bellingham, WA to Tom and Joyce Haggith. Ken graduated from Bellingham High School and went on to serve in the Marine Corps in Vietnam. He married Mary Sue LeMaster on February 3, 1972 in San Diego, CA. Ken worked as an operator for the Phillips 66 refinery in Sweeny, Texas and later moved back to Whatcom County and worked for Conoco Phillips until he retired in 2009. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, restoring cars and collecting Civil War memorabilia. Ken was a loving family man, a great friend, and was honorable, trustworthy and generous. He was one of a kind and will dearly missed by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Sue, daughters Monica (Paul) Prendergast and Nikki (Craig) Allen, son Sean Haggith, grandchildren Brianna, Chloe, Maison, Valerie and Makenna, brother Bob (Jody) Haggith, and many loving relatives and friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Friday, February 2nd at 11 AM. Reception following. Burial with military honors will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ferndale.
