Lauvi Afamasaga, age 43, passed away peacefully at home in Seattle from heart complications. He was born April 30, 1978 in Samoa to Asiasi and Valasi Afamasaga. Lauvi was raised in Bellingham and had many friends in Whatcom County. He was a true entertainer who loved to sing and to make others happy. Lauvi had a giant heart and was full of love. He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle who will be missed by all of his loving family. Lauvi was preceded in death by his father, Asiasi. He is survived by his mother Valasi, sister Fagafa Manuma (husband Meko), sister Sooleoso Holmes (husband Torrance), brother Fala Asiasi (wife Kristin), sister Sandy Talaga, nephews Torrance Holmes II, Nicholas Manuma, Lance Holmes, Elijah Holmes, and Meko Manuma, Jr., nieces Kilda Afamasaga, Sela Afamasaga, Josie Manuma, Iokapeta Manuma, and Valasi Rosemary Holmes.
