Linda T. Kearney

Linda T. Kearney, age 69, passed away at home in Bellingham, WA, on March 18, 2017. She was born April 15, 1947 in Ruston, Louisiana to Dewey and Virginia Thurmon. While employed at Louisiana Tech University Linda helped many international students to adjust to college life in the U.S. Stephen and Linda retired to Bellingham in 2012 and have enjoyed all the area has to offer, including the restaurants, music, the water and the mountains. Linda enjoyed spending time in the garden and tending her flowers. She was kind hearted, gentle, and had a great sense of humor. She was predeceased by her parents. Linda is survived by her husband of 46 years, Stephen, daughter Kristin Grant (husband Matthew) and their son Jacob, son Kenneth Kearney (partner Lorraine Wilde), brother Steve Thurmon, her cats Lightnin’ and Chant, her dog Sunny, and many loving relatives and friends.
