Lois J. Martin

Lois Martin, age 96, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 in Kirkland, WA. She was born February 2, 1919 in Bellingham, WA to Jesse and Daisy Bond. Lois graduated from Bellingham High School in 1937. She married George A. Martin on March 11, 1944 in Bellingham.

Lois was a member of First Christian Church for many years and was a past volunteer with St. Joseph Hospital and Camp Fire Girls. Lois enjoyed life. She had a lively spirit, a great sense of humor and was adored by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband George, sisters Ruby and Ruth and her step-daughter Maxine Baklund. She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Richards, grandchildren Lori Richards, Debbie Herzog, Jennifer Gowans, Mark Baklund and Tony Baklund and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at Westford Funeral Home at 11 AM on Friday, October 16th. Reception following. Rev. Gary Shoemaker will be officiating.
