Lorena V. Ludtke

Lorena V. Ludtke, age 92 of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2014. She was born August 16, 1922 Port Angeles, WA to James and Vina (Emory) Corning. She graduated from Port Angeles High School and married Abner Ludtke on August 31, 1941 in Bellingham. Lorena and Abner have been faithful members of Trinity Lutheran Church for many years. Lorena enjoyed her family, flowers, horses, and RVing. She was preceded in death by brothers Ralph, Jess and Glen Corning and sister Alida Tarr. Lorena is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Abner Ludtke, son Gailen (wife Debbie) Ludtke of Sandy Point, daughter Valerie (husband David) Lloyd of Burlington, grandchildren Aaron Ludtke, David (wife Abbie) Lloyd, Patrick Lloyd and Evan (wife Niki) Thomas, great-grandchildren Jaymeson, Hayleigh and Dawson Lloyd, brother Bill Corning, along with many loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Sunday, January 4 from 2-4pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bellingham on Monday, January 5 at 11:00am, followed by a reception at the church. Committal will follow at Greenacres Memorial Park. Rev. Doug Iben will be officiating.
