Loriann J. Smiley

Loriann J. Smiley, of Bellingham, WA, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in Bellingham. She was 71, born in Bellingham on April 30, 1947 in Bellingham to Arlene Signe (Evertz) and John Christopher Kowsky, Sr. Loriann was preceded in death by her father John Kowsky, Sr. and is survived by her three children, Jonathon Smiley, Christopher (Jessie) Smiley and Holly O’Neill;
sister Kathy Tift; brothers, John Christopher Kowsky, Jr., Scott MacDonald, Rick Kowsky, Randy Lampman, and Roderick Kowsky; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lori will be remembered for her wicked sense of humor, and love of 4 letter words. As a teacher, she was a protector and advocate for all her students. She will be dearly missed. Jag älskar dig Mamma. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 2, 2018, 12:00 Noon – 4:00 PM with a ceremony at 1:00 PM, at the VFW Post 1585, 625 N. State Street, Bellingham.
