Lorraine H. Caldwell, age 89, passed away on November 18, 2010. She was born March 1, 1921 in Bayonne, NJ to Joseph & Lillian (Geery) Harris. She lived her early years in Burbank, CA. Lorraine worked at Lockheed Martin during WWII. She married William A. Caldwell and they raised their four children in Westwood, CA. She worked as a model, fashion commentator, and actress, as well as an executive secretary and realtor. In the last few years of her life Lorraine moved to Bellingham to be near her daughter and son-in-law, but always considered herself a true Southern Californian.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her sister Sally Christie Hummel. She is survived by daughters Lindsay (Joe) Reid of Bellingham and Andrea (Bill) Baynes of Santa Monica, CA; sons Bill (Darlis) Caldwell, Jr. of Henderson, NV and Casey (Nancy) Caldwell of Healdsburg, CA; and grandchildren Kevin Baynes, Todd Baynes, Sarah Caldwell, and Rachael Caldwell.
A Celebration of Life service, followed by “Happy Hour” will be held at Westford’s Broadway Hall on Sunday, December 12th at 5 PM.
