Mack V. Stull, age 90 passed away on February 20, 2013 in Bellingham. He was born August 25, 1922 at the family homestead in Oregon to Graf and Jessie Stull. He served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during WWII. He married Hazel Marx on January 12, 1946 in St. Paul, MN. Mack and Hazel moved to Bellingham in 1947 and he went to work for the postal service, retiring as Assistant Postmaster in 1977. Mack loved to golf and played every day he could. They were snowbirds and enjoyed traveling in their R.V. Mack was quiet, gentle and a loving grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel, sisters Iola and Inez, brothers Clifford and Blaine, and grandson Joe Chorvat. He is survived by his daughter Sandy (Frank) Chorvat, son Keith (Sue) Stull, grandchildren Jason (wife Dongru) Chorvat and their children Nick, Peyton and Jade, Tim (Jenna) Chorvat and their daughter Lily, Heidi Stull, Matt (Andrea) Stull and their daughters Kaia and Calla, Joe’s son Christopher Chorvat, brother Ross Stull, and many loving relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Summit Place for their loving care and support. A Celebration of Mack’s life with military honors will be held at Westford Funeral Home at 1 PM on Thursday, February 28th. Reception following.
