Madison Colette Vallee, 24, of Bellingham died suddenly at home on 20 March 2023.
Madison was born on 14 December 1998 to parents J F Vallee and Kristi Hampton Vallee.
She graduated from Lake Hamilton High School in Arkansas in 2017 where she excelled in drama and her academic subjects. She was also an enthusiastic cheerleader. She was offered a place at Western Washington University, Bellingham for a drama course but decided to pursue a professional career instead of further studies.
She later moved to Bellingham, Washington in 2017, where she worked in several jobs before passing her exams to become a gemologist with Fred Meyer’s jewelry department. Her smile and warmth could outshine any jewel and customers were drawn to her. She was a favorite salesperson with many returning customers. She loved her job and enjoyed being surrounded by all the sparkles. She loved jewelry and loved glitter. Her beautiful hands and nails were perfect for modeling rings. She was a bright star and light for all who met her. She had such kindness and compassion and would help anyone who needed help. She touched all who met her and lit up a room just by her presence. She will be sorely missed, will never be forgotten, and was much loved.
She is survived by her mother Kristi Hampton Vallee, her father JF Vallee and his spouse Vivienne Vallee, her brother Cooper Vallee and her extended family brother Alex Eshelby, and sister Victoria Eshelby. She also has family members whom she loved and adored in Montreal, Canada, Hope, Arkansas, the UK, and Holland.
An open house memorial will be held on Wednesday, March 29th from 2-4pm at Westford Funeral Home.
