Margaret A. Kelly

Margaret Kelly, age 84 of Bellingham, passed away November 3, 2014. She was born September 3, 1930 in New York, NY to Wilfred and Florence Rigg. She married Dick Kelly on December 26, 1950. Margaret enjoyed dogs her entire life and was a champion collie breeder in earlier years. She enjoyed watching USC and Seahawks football games, playing golf, bowling and square dancing. Margaret was an avid reader and belonged to a number of book clubs. She was also active in the Newcomer’s Club in Bellingham. Family was the cornerstone of her life and she loved them dearly. She is survived by her husband Dick, sons Tom (Trudy) of Victoria, B.C., Steve (Rene) of Bellingham, and Dave (Showan) of Mission Vallejo, CA, grandchildren Gavin, Jeffrey, Christine and Brian and brothers Richard (Louise), Doug, Bill and Geoff. Hospice was a great help to Margaret during the last months of her life. A Celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at the clubhouse at 4780 Corona Ct. in Bellingham at 11 AM on Thursday, November 20th.
