Margrate M. Anderson, of Bellingham, WA, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at her home. Margrate was 80, born in Deming, WA on September 30, 1936 to Robert and Jessie (Aitken) Tingley.
She was a life resident of Whatcom County and married Selwyn Keith Anderson on May 15, 1953. Margrate was preceded in death by her son Robert Anderson and sister Molly Curtin and is survived by her husband of 63 years; daughters, Julie (James) Peterson and Charlene (Steve) Hitz; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister Bonnie Gran and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m., Monday, February 13th at Woodlawn Cemetery.
