Vigil: Wednesday, October 27 at 7 pm at Westford Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, October 28 at 12 Noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Reception & Burial to follow.
Marie T. McClellan, age 86 of Bellingham, passed away October 22, 2010 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born February 18, 1924 in Bellingham to Frank & Jeanne (Vialla) Hagan. Marie graduated from Bellingham High School in 1941. She worked at Morse Hardware, Georgia Pacific, and Intalco Aluminum, where she retired as Executive Secretary in 1977. She was a member of Church of the Assumption and in later years, Sacred Heart.
Her life was her family and friends; a warm smile and concern for others created many enduring friendships. Over her many years, Marie learned to take life in stride, making the best and most of daily living. Her attitude and strength of character gave those around her courage, hope and resolve.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Jeanne Roehl. She is survived by daughters Mary Ann Metcalfe of Spokane (significant other Gene Ferguson) and Marcia Kinder of Mount Lake Terrace, son Michael (wife Tricia) Morris of Ferndale; grandchildren Ryan Metcalfe, Kyle Kinder, and Britton-Michael Kinder; great-grandchildren Uniq and Antonio Metcalfe; the entire Roehl family and many other loving extended family members and friends.
A Vigil will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 27 at 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday, October 28 at 12 Noon followed by a reception at the church hall. Burial will follow at Bayview City Cemetery.
