Marie Zentackos Miles

Marie Miles, age 94, passed away peacefully in her home on October 22, 2021 in Bellingham. She was born February 25, 1927 in Dorchester, MA to Arthur and Bella Zentackos. She married the love of her life, George Miles in Boston, MA. George and Marie followed his career in the US Navy for 20 years. Marie was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was most important to her. She was a wonderful holiday baker and cook and loved sharing her Greek pastries and cookies with her family and friends. She loved antiquing and owned an antique shop for years. Marie enjoyed farming and caring for their horses on their small farm on West Laurel Road. Her family will miss her dearly. Marie was preceded in death by her loving husband George in 2020 and siblings Charlie, Anna, Philip, Teddy and Bessie. She is survived by her three children, Art Miles, Eddree Miles and Godfrey Miles, grandchildren Chad Macy, Nicole Adelstein (Ken), Collin Potts (Nikki), Zoe Miles and Stam Jamchat, great-grandchildren Jaxson and Savannah Potts, and many loving relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church in Bellingham at 10 AM on Friday, October 29th. Committal will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Lynden. Fr.
