Mark R Lehman, Sr., 56, passed away December 24, 2012. He was born July 7, 1956 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Mark was the proud son of Kenneth K. Lehman and Patricia (Adair) Lehman, both deceased in 2011. He was predeceased by father and mother in law Robert Suiter and Esther Parker in 2007. Mark is survived by his loving and devoted wife Brenda, and children Mark, Jr., and Kimber Lyn Lehman. Also, brother Bruce Lehman and sister Leeza (Mark) Millman, sister-in-law Patty (Rob) Ross, as well as special nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families.
Mark graduated in 1974 from Mount Baker High School, and earned a baseball scholarship to Skagit Valley College.
Mark married his best friend and soul mate, Brenda (Suiter) July 13, 1985. The anniversary of their first date was New Year’s Eve 1977.
Mark enjoyed many things, but was happiest with the simple things in life, spending time with family and friends, sharing memories and flashing his million dollar smile. He will be greatly missed.
“Nothing thrilled me more than when I threw a perfect curve ball, struck out a batter or crushed a pitch right out of the ballpark. In life, I never let the fear of striking out get in my way. I just ran out of innings.”
