Mary Henry, age 91 of Bellingham passed away on February 23, 2012 at Shuksan Healthcare Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2003, and her sisters Beatrice Costello and Margaret Barrett. She is survived by her daughter Mary Lee (Frank) McCormick of Vancouver, B.C., son Dennis Henry of Portland, OR, grandson Daniel McCormick of Vancouver, B.C. and many loving nieces and nephews. Mary was born November 2, 1920 in Ridgway, PA to William and Elizabeth (Webster) Miller. In 1942 she married Robert Lee Henry to whom she was a devoted and loving wife. She graduated from Pennsylvania State Teacher’s College with a degree in Education. She and Bob followed his engineering career to Tulsa, Los Angeles and San Francisco before retiring to Sacramento. In 1993 Mary and Bob moved to Bellingham where they became active members of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was fortunate to have spent her last two years of life at Shuksan Healthcare. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, February 29th at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2550 Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham. Memorials may be made to the Washington Talking Book & Braille Library at 2021 9th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121-2783.
