MaryLee Gillespie, age 80, passed away in Bellingham on June 8, 2021. She was born June 15, 1940 in Bellingham, WA to Mary (Rheinhart) and John Hartelroad, Sr.
MaryLee enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards with friends and neighbors and especially enjoyed baking her famous cookies for all to enjoy.
MaryLee was preceded in death by her former husband Bruce Gillespie. She is survived by her loving companion Ralph Akins, her four children, Jana (Doug) Marks, Lee Larson, Tony (Danielle) Larson and Steve (Sharon) Gillespie, grandchildren Alisha, Derek, Christopher, Bronte, Jonathan, Shane and Shawna, great-grandsons Hunter and David, and many loving relatives and friends.
