Melvin “Ed” Pettit age 84 of Bellignham, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011. Ed was born on April 25, 1927 in Sebeka Minnesota, to Charles and Clara Pettit. Melvin honorably served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and wife of 42 years Ethel Pettit. Ed is survived by his brothers and sisters, grandchildren; Jeremy Cullup and Anna Briones, Hillary Cullup, 4 great grandchildren; Jamison, Jaylynn, Jaxon, and Payton, and many loving friends and family members.
