Myrtle M. Aarstol, of Everson, WA, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 in Bellingham. Micki was 79, born on November 17, 1935 in Grand Prairie, Alberta to Edith (Knight) and Hugh Wilson.
Micki sang with Sweet Adeline’s, loved baking, cooking, gardening, and traveling and camping with her R.V. club. But most important to her was her family.
Micki was preceded in death by her sons, Christen Aarstol in 2004, Greg Aarstol in 2015 and grandson Joshua Irwin in 2011. She is survived by her husband Gene Aarstol; daughters, Lori Aarstol (Daniel Albrect) and Sherri Grucza; 2 grandchildren, Jacqueline Aaron and Loren Grucza; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Edna Jorgenson and Ruth Sigman; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Micki’s Life will be held Saturday, October 24th from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Rome Grange, 2821 Mt. Baker Hwy in Bellingham.
