Normadene Padgett

Normadene Padgett passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014 in Bellingham. She was 88, born on January 4, 1926 to William and Gladys (Borchers) Hirsch in Decatur, IL. A longtime resident of Whatcom County, Normadene worked as a bookkeeper for Pacific American Fisheries, Morse Hardware and retired from the timber department of Georgia Pacific. For many years she volunteered at the Bellingham Senior Center and the Puget Sound Blood Bank. Normadene was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gloria Ann Wilmore. She is survived by her children, Suzanne Warrington and William E. (Jo Ann) Padgett; grandchildren, Makenna Padgett, Justin Warrington, and Jennifer McCormick; and great- granddaughter Ella McCormick. Memorials may be made to the Bellingham Senior Center or Puget Sound Blood Bank. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Westford Funeral Home.
