Norval Magnusson

Norval Magnusson went peacefully to be with his Lord on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at his home, surrounded by family. He was 93, born on February 25, 1923 in Gardar, ND to Karl and Stefania (Arnason) Magnussson.

Norval served in the U.S. Army and worked for Georgia Pacific for many years, retiring in 1998. He was an active member of Geneva Community Church before the church moved and became Northlake Community Church, where he was also active.

Norval was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ralph Magnusson. He is survived by his wife Joan, three children, Nancy Magnusson Durham and husband Ken, Craig Magnusson, and Carol Magnusson Mather and husband Frank, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, sister Caroline Bullinger, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Northlake Community Church, 1471 McLeod Rd. in Bellingham at 1 PM on Thursday, March 31, 2016. Reception following. Pastor Jeff Geise will be officiating.
